Bored now

Genichirou, dear, did you have a nice time shopping for shoes? I hope you did.

I had a dreafully boring time, here in my dormroom, while my sole companion (that would be Shishido, now that Kabaji has seen fit to abandon me) was off... doing whatever it is he and Ohtori do.

Don't mind me. I'm just wallowing in solitude. But I do hope you got nice shoes.

I'm back. Mykonos was, as always, beautiful and sunny. Kind of dull, this time though.

That's not really Mykonos fault, however.

Anyway, I've been thinking. The whole concept of waiting (like, waiting "for the right time" or "till we're ready")... don't really understand the point of it myself. But then, I've always preferred instant gratification as opposed to the supposed virtues and benefits of delaying pleasure. Why? What for? All that you get is needless frustration.

I suppose I have Mykonos to thank for that revelation.

You'd better not have touched my things!

Checking in from Mykonos

Just... popping in briefly, because I told *someone* that I would.

Mykonos is beautiful, of course. The greek sun is wonderful and my skin is a nice golden tan now, since mostly all I'm doing is lying around on the beach all day. As usual, I have all sorts of people hitting on me, from boys more or less my own age to older men who obviously apreciate a nubile, perfect young body like mine (the appreciation of nubile, perfect young bodies is very big among greek men). Much as I appreciate to be properly worshipped, being hit on was a lot more fun when I was actually interested.

Apparently, I've mostly lost my taste for flirting, if it doesn't involve the fukubuchou of Rikkai.

Genichirou, see what you've done to me? You've completely ruined my greek fun.. and aren't even here to replace it with NEW greek fun.

*tragic sigh*

TOUCH MY THINGS AND DIE!

Forced vacation

Mother has decided that the family needs Quality Time. Apparently I'm too busy with tennis, and school, and... stuff, and Father is too busy with business, and Mother is too busy... being Mother. So, family time will be a week and a half at the villa in Mykonos.

Much as I love Mykonos, now is really not the best time for it, but once Mother has decided on something, it's no use trying to convince her otherwise. So, I am off.

I'll miss you! E-mail me?

I've spent the past four days doing nothing but study. Thankfully, the classic greek lit exam is tomorrow, and I'll be able to have a semblance of a life again. (...And hopefully see you again, Genichirou?)

For those that aren't already aware of it, Shishido Ryoh has transferred back, and will be moving back into the dorms tomorrow. I expect he will be back in practice on Tuesday... if he can tear himself away from Ohtori long enough to attend, I mean.

Detentions are afoot

Kantoku has decided that the whole whacking chocolate with tennis rackets incident was "a disgraceful display of inmaturity ill-fitting for students of Hyoutei Gakuen". Which in layman terms means everyone that was caught partaking of the festivities is to report for detention Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon (instead of coming to practice).

[I'm afraid that kantoku has also decided that, as the likely ringleader, you are in need of a private lecture. In his office, tomorrow right afterschool. And, Taki, I say this in the nicest way possible: don't try to get out of it. It'll be better if you just... go peacefully.]

Yesterday was one of THOSE days

I suppose that there's only ONE person at Hyoutei that would think to replace a basketful of tennis balls with chocolate Easter eggs wrapped in aluminum foil. And while the gesture was touching, I'm sure, the pre-regulars apparently had way too much fun trying to "practice" with the chocolates before kantoku or I arrived. Which were half-melted to begin with.

Kantoku insists on some form of discipline, since they should have known better. I insist that stupidity makes my head ache.

No, Ohtori, I do not think YOU are stupid. Just... overly enthusiastic. You certainly started a fine mess, however.

I got an e-mail from Genichirou today. A very intense e-mail. Fantasies and things like that. It's not that I'm... I mean, I'm hardly inexperienced where sex is concerned, so, PLEASE, of course I'm not nervous about THAT aspect of it. It's just... it seems like it's so intense, so quickly, and perhaps it's too soon. We've been out once, afterall. It's not that I'm not attracted to him, obviously I am (I am not in denial, no matter what Shishido thinks), and it's not that no one has ever wanted me that way before.

Perhaps the thing that frightens me is that I can't control it. But then again, I also find the prospect fascinating.

EDIT: I wonder if he's expecting a return email. Knowing him, he is. But how am I supposed to reply to that?
Kantoku and I had a meeting about the club. Mostly I wanted to bring up again my request regarding a certain bane of my existence, and whether or not kantoku will lend his assistance in getting the aforementioned bane of my existence back, since currently his talents are simply going to waste.

Apparently he will (in case a certain bane is reading and was wondering but isn't bothering to call and ask about it).

The other main topic of discussion was Hiyoshi. Generally speaking, I believe there is nothing wrong with being tough on the pre-regulars. Otherwise how are they supposed to improve to the best of their abilities? For this reason, up until I've turned a blind eye to Hiyoshi's recent exploits. Namely the slow, methodical traumatizing of the underclassmen that he calls "practicing". However, I think (and kantoku agrees) that Hiyoshi has possibly gone a bit far (I hear a couple of his recent "training partners" have been administered sedatives). I think it's time I stepped in. Hiyoshi DOES seem to have more pent up frustration than usual of late, and it might be a good idea to suggest that he channel it more positively.

Even with Genichirou's crazy teammate making prank calls, and nearly missing the dorms curfew... I had a really great time last night. And Genichirou always was a great kisser.

I could have gone without Shishido's clever comments when I got back late, though.

You got home alright?

(And I had an amusing dream last night, in which Genichirou came up to my room later that night. It involved light bondage and, er... certain slightly masochistic fantasies. The school therapist would say I subconciously wish I could give up control but won't allow myself to do it, so my mind externalizes this desire by dreams about having it taken from me, thus allowing me to remain guiltfree.

/I/ think I just have really amusing fantasies.)

Hmm. So THAT is what Sanada got called off about. Interesting.

Sanada confuses me. Apparently he "likes" me. Not that that makes it any easier to figure out. "Like" is a very broad, very vague term, afterall.

Met Shishido today. We had an interesting conversation. Infuriating as it is to deal with his attitude sometimes, he makes valid points. And I suppose I should get up early tomorrow to talk to kantoku. The sooner, the better.

<strike>Sanada Genichirou. Is the biggest prick I've ever had the misfortune to cross paths with.

That is all. ~_~</strike>

<strike>Well, maybe not the biggest prick. He's just... infuriating. Sometimes.</strike>

EDIT: YES HE IS. >.<

And apparently we have a... what? This is most certainly NOT a date. Whatever it is, it's on Wednesday. To talk.

White Day went mostly as expected. I received a rather large box of imported Belgian chocolates (they don't sell them here, they come from a quaint little store in Brugge) with no identifying marks aside from an attached red rose. I really am incredibly amused by kantoku's insistance on absolute discretion.

There was a a box from Yuushi. Heart-shaped. I must admit I've yet to figure out if it's what passes for a joke in Kansai, or if he's decided to start hitting on me again. Probably both. This IS Yuushi after all. I really am not looking forward to the fit Gakuto will throw when he notices. Kabaji got me a little box of those chocolate-covered maraschino cherries I liked so much from that little shop in Shinjuku. I'm a bit surprised he remembered, although the truth is Kabaji ALWAYS remembers. It's so nice to have reminders that the people in my life pay attention to me and remember random little details like that.

There was one other noteworthy White Day present, from a... shall we say, somewhat unexpected source. I mean, it's not unexpected that the person in question wants me; because really? This is me. Of course he wants me. What is unexpected is that he's decided to... come out of the closet, as it were. Dark chocolate, fairly good quality, really... except they're domestic. Not that there's anythig wrong with domestic chocolate, but considering the source and the circumstances surrounding us, I'd say I rate at least imported box of chocolates. Domestic just is not enough to make up for his inconsiderate behavior this past year.

...Then again, the poem sort of helps.

We were together
Only a little while,
And we believed our love
Would last a thousand years.

Right. It's... a little bit over the top. But considering that I don't expect Sanada Genichirou to have a highly developed sense of romance, it's... sweet. Sort of.

I knew he wanted my ass. *smirk*

Preparations for tomorrow

Sometimes I feel for Kabaji. Like today, when I sent him to buy White Day chocolates on my behalf. Someone in my unique position must always be gracious to his admirers, specially in the case of the girls that thoughtfully send me chocolate for Valentine's Day each year.

It is, of course, a little sad, that so many of them adore me when not a single one of them has the barest hope of ever winning my affections... which is all the more reason to be meticulously gracious and courteous and send a box back to each and every one. And they must all have the very best of course, because this is Atobe Keigo who is sending them chocolates, and because I wouldn't want any one of them to feel slighted if they got less than the best... or worse yet, I wouldn't want any girl to get their hopes up if I happened to get her something a little different, since I would eventually have to let them down.

I hate having to tell a lovestruck girl that the feeling isn't mutual. They can be kind of dense though, and sometimes it's unavoidable.

But I digress. The point is that 631 boxes of Lindt's would be such a hassle for poor Kabaji to carry around Tokyo, so I called home and had a car sent to drive him. Let it never be said I'm not thoughtful.

Anyway, I'm mildly excited. I really do find it much more interesting to see how many chocolates I get on White Day than on Valentine's... for obvious reasons. Granted, I don't get NEARLY as many... a guy has to be rather confident in order to break social conventions and send another boy chocolates on such a date.

Which is why I appreciate it all the more.
