Genichirou, dear, did you have a nice time shopping for shoes? I hope you did.
I had a dreafully boring time, here in my dormroom, while my sole companion (that would be Shishido, now that Kabaji has seen fit to abandon me) was off... doing whatever it is he and Ohtori do.
Don't mind me. I'm just wallowing in solitude. But I do hope you got nice shoes.Current Mood: bored

I'm back. Mykonos was, as always, beautiful and sunny. Kind of dull, this time though.
That's not really Mykonos fault, however.
Anyway, I've been thinking. The whole concept of waiting (like, waiting "for the right time" or "till we're ready")... don't really understand the point of it myself. But then, I've always preferred instant gratification as opposed to the supposed virtues and benefits of delaying pleasure. Why? What for? All that you get is needless frustration.
I suppose I have Mykonos to thank for that revelation.

» Checking in from Mykonos
Just... popping in briefly, because I told *someone* that I would.
Mykonos is beautiful, of course. The greek sun is wonderful and my skin is a nice golden tan now, since mostly all I'm doing is lying around on the beach all day. As usual, I have all sorts of people hitting on me, from boys more or less my own age to older men who obviously apreciate a nubile, perfect young body like mine (the appreciation of nubile, perfect young bodies is very big among greek men). Much as I appreciate to be properly worshipped, being hit on was a lot more fun when I was actually interested.
Apparently, I've mostly lost my taste for flirting, if it doesn't involve the fukubuchou of Rikkai.
Genichirou, see what you've done to me? You've completely ruined my greek fun.. and aren't even here to replace it with NEW greek fun.
*tragic sigh*

» Forced vacation
Mother has decided that the family needs Quality Time. Apparently I'm too busy with tennis, and school, and... stuff, and Father is too busy with business, and Mother is too busy... being Mother. So, family time will be a week and a half at the villa in Mykonos.
Much as I love Mykonos, now is really not the best time for it, but once Mother has decided on something, it's no use trying to convince her otherwise. So, I am off.

Kabaji was acting very peculiar last night, when Genichirou dropped by. I should probably take him out for ice cream or the like.

Shishido has come back. What I did not INTEND was to have him move into my room. Which is exactly what happened.
This was REALLY not my day.

I've spent the past four days doing nothing but study. Thankfully, the classic greek lit exam is tomorrow, and I'll be able to have a semblance of a life again. ( Genichirou )
For those that aren't already aware of it, Shishido Ryoh has transferred back, and will be moving back into the dorms tomorrow. I expect he will be back in practice on Tuesday... if he can tear himself away from Ohtori long enough to attend, I mean.

» Detentions are afoot
Kantoku has decided that the whole whacking chocolate with tennis rackets incident was "a disgraceful display of inmaturity ill-fitting for students of Hyoutei Gakuen". Which in layman terms means everyone that was caught partaking of the festivities is to report for detention Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon (instead of coming to practice).

» Yesterday was one of THOSE days
I suppose that there's only ONE person at Hyoutei that would think to replace a basketful of tennis balls with chocolate Easter eggs wrapped in aluminum foil. And while the gesture was touching, I'm sure, the pre-regulars apparently had way too much fun trying to "practice" with the chocolates before kantoku or I arrived. Which were half-melted to begin with.
Kantoku insists on some form of discipline, since they should have known better. I insist that stupidity makes my head ache.

Kantoku and I had a meeting about the club. Mostly I wanted to bring up again my request regarding a certain bane of my existence, and whether or not kantoku will lend his assistance in getting the aforementioned bane of my existence back, since currently his talents are simply going to waste.
Apparently he will (in case a certain bane is reading and was wondering but isn't bothering to call and ask about it).
The other main topic of discussion was Hiyoshi. Generally speaking, I believe there is nothing wrong with being tough on the pre-regulars. Otherwise how are they supposed to improve to the best of their abilities? For this reason, up until I've turned a blind eye to Hiyoshi's recent exploits. Namely the slow, methodical traumatizing of the underclassmen that he calls "practicing". However, I think (and kantoku agrees) that Hiyoshi has possibly gone a bit far (I hear a couple of his recent "training partners" have been administered sedatives). I think it's time I stepped in. Hiyoshi DOES seem to have more pent up frustration than usual of late, and it might be a good idea to suggest that he channel it more positively.

Even with Genichirou's crazy teammate making prank calls, and nearly missing the dorms curfew... I had a really great time last night. And Genichirou always was a great kisser.
I could have gone without Shishido's clever comments when I got back late, though.

Sanada called again last night, kind of lateish. We... are going to see Return of the King on Saturday. Apparently, there's a weekend-long reprise of the trilogy for Tolkien geeks enthusiasts.
He's seen it before, of course. I haven't. I saw the other two, but never got around to this one.

Met Shishido today. We had an interesting conversation. Infuriating as it is to deal with his attitude sometimes, he makes valid points. And I suppose I should get up early tomorrow to talk to kantoku. The sooner, the better.
